Gin is a spirit flavoured with juniper berries.
This is distilled from grains and similar to vodka except that it's flavored with juniper berries, herbs, peels, and spices.
A well-made gin will be relatively dry compared to other spirits.
Substitutes: vodka, white rum, whiskey, tequila, brandy.
